    Allowances in Indian Army

    4.Kit Maintenance AllowancesThis allowance is merged in Dress Allowance i.e. ₹ 20,000/- per year
    5.Transport Allowancei) In Cities – ₹ 7,200 /- + DA thereon per month
    ii) Other Places – ₹ 3,600 /- + DA thereon per month
    6.Children Education Allowance₹ 2,250/- p.m shall be given for two elder surviving children from Nursery to 12th class.
